How does Solea work?
Solea uses light to vaporize tooth structure or soft tissue at such a high frequency, that if overwhelms pain receptors, which prevents pain signals from ever reaching the brain. The result is an analgesic effect that allows the work to completed with very little if any sensation.
What do patients feel?
Patients occasionally feel cold sensation or slight pressure. 50% of the patients feel absolutely nothing. The other 50% of patients feel a slight to moderate cold or pressure. If a patient is ever uncomfortable, the dentist can simply reduce the amount of energy being used and get the patient comfortable almost immediately.
